Japanese Subculture Shiro-Nuri

                  Japanese Shiro-Nuri Subculture

Shiro-Nuri is a Japanese style where people paint their whole face white. I know it sounds really weird but this girl named Minori, she makes it look like high fashion.
She is what I like to call inspiring. She does everything on her own. The clothes, the makeup, the props, EVERYTHING! Except for the shooting. She hires a photographer. I've only recently learned about this style when I saw her interview. Nature became her inspiration and she added that element to her pictures. Likes these:

She intends to make a photo album and sell it. If she does, I can't wait to buy it. Her photos may not be like those High fashion photos but you can still be amazed by it. Her makeup is beautiful and same with the clothes. I still can't believe she did them by herself!

Here is her website and the rest of her artworks:

Kawaii Chibi!!!!

For the past two days I've been working on coloring 2 line arts. It seems so easy but it's actually hard. I kept undoing and redoing. I spend about 3 to 5 hours on each just because it never really reached my perfection. Though I still liked how it ended up as.

This one is called Carrot Boy. He's actually a character called England from the anime Hetalia. You guys should go check out the anime. It's really weird but funny.

This one is called Hetalia America because it's a character also from the anime Hetalia. His name is obviously America. Yes I know it's weird but the anime is about countries and their relationship with each other and each country is portrayed by human character. This chibi above is the "Chibi" version of the original. Same with the Carrot Boy.

Here are the links for each picture:

Please go check them out at ChibikoChess Deviantart

Crayon Melting Art

Crayon melting art is so easy and AWESOME! I did it and it ended up like just how I wanted it to be.

It's really simple. First you need these following items:

-A canvas
-Glue gun with glue sticks
-Crayons
-Hair dryer
-Newspaper or something that you can use to protect the area your going to do the crayon melt

1-Place the newspaper on the ground
2-Start separating the crayons into groups of matching colour
3-Place them how you like on the canvas(DO NOT GLUE THEM YET)
4-Once you like the placement of the crayons glue them onto the canvas
5-Start the hair dryer
6-Point the hair dryer to the direction you want the crayon to melt
7-Stop when you think you're finished

Here is a video for those who prefer to watch the video. It is not my video so I have no credits for this.

Here is how my Crayon Melting Art ended up like

Realistic and 3D Art

So I'm doing this project about Realistic and 3D Art for school and I thought why not share some photos I found and post it on my blog for people to see. Oh! And none of the photos are mines so all credits go to the artists.

Here are some I'm going to use for my project.
It's really hard to believe that this photo here on the right was drawn using a pencil, pen, etc.
If you hide the right side with your hand, you'll definitely think that the left side is a photo and not a drawing.

Here's a realistic painting that was done on the ground. I really does look like two angels flying out of the sky which is under the ground...Sounds weird doesn't it. Though it only looks like that from a certain angle. If you look at the photo of the right, you see the exact same painting but from a different angle. Looks weird right?

This one above is probably my favorite. Why? Well look at it. It's so damn realistic! It looks like the elevator floor has a hole in it!. I would be extremely scared if the elevator door opened and I saw that. I would be like the person on the left.

There's a hole and a waterfall in the ground! Of course not, it's just a painting. I really well done one too. Though I wonder how they imagined this? How did the know how to paint this? Did they already paint it on a software the painted onto the ground? Or did they do it right out from the head? Well I guess I'll have to continue my research for these information.

2 Days Before Halloween!!!!!!

          IT'S NEARLY HALLOWEEN!

I'm still wondering when the zombie apocalypse
is going to happen. I'm totally not prepared if it's going to happen tomorrow.
Only thing I'm prepared for is Halloween! It's in 2 days! Extremely excited! I'm dressing up as a Zombie Alice with a wolf hood.                                  The makeup will be like this one did by the famous                           Michelle Phan!!!!!!!! Here the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHkJpjjPIvM

Here's what I'm going to wear(sorry, I can't draw that well and badly scan too. It was last minute):

That's the costume I'm going to wear. I might change it a bit since it might be cold.

Well now that I told you what I'm going to wear for Halloween, send me a picture of what your costume is at mochasundae@hotmail.co.uk

Creative Dark Arts

I recently went to go watch Frankenweenie with my little sister and it was AWESOME!

Tim Burton's movies or creations are just so damn amazing! I always loved his work! From movies to drawing, I always fell in love with it. I've watch his short film called "Vincent". It was poetic and creepy but in a good way. Like Frankenweenie but a bit more weirder.

I've also started reading Edgar Allan Poe's book. Well more like short stories made into a book but you get my point. It's called "Edgar Allan Poe Great Tales and Poems". I bought it a few weeks ago and didn't have the time to read it so whenever I have a bit of time I'll start reading it. I recommend Edgar Allan Poe to all the people who enjoy suspense, mystery, or horror.

I bought my book at Indigo's. It's a Canadian bookstore though but I'm pretty sure this is available in any bookstore or you could buy it online. And also for those who want to watch the short film "Vincent" here's the link-> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASHP-vgnjAw

Paper Crafts Frenzy!

Ok so I lied. I didn't make daily posts but I have an excuse. I was busy with my exams and preparing my school festival. I broke my camera so sadly, I have no pictures of the festival. But! I do have something cool to introduce to you guys. It's PAPER CRAFT!

I found out about paper craft from my cousin. Once I found out it just print, cut, fold and glue to make such a cute paper doll, I just had to start making them. They're also really easy to make. Example this this one:
It's Totoro from the Ghibli Studio movei called "My Neighbor Totoro". It was my favourite childhood movie so I decided to make Totoro. I may seem quite hard to make but it was actually really easy. Ok maybe saying really easy is exaggerating but it was simple.
All I had to do was fold the places it told me to fold and then glue them. Not hard right?

If any of you are interested in making any just email me at MochaSundae@hotmail.co.uk and I'll send you the templates you would like. Though I don't have them all of them.

Crazy Colors! Shojono Tomo & Nicki Minaj!

These crazy colors that most of us will not wear in public is created by Shojono Tomo and worn by Nicki Minaj. I've always loved Shojono Tomo's clothes because of the crazy colors and the meaning. The two tees I showed above were created based on a story created in 2004 called "Skinship Barney".

Skinship Barney is a story about a child who has a body of an adult and a kid's spirit that has no physical contact with humans. The child soon dies due to his body temperature going out of control.

Nicki Minaj's outift to the VMA 2011 was outstanding as usual. Though it really caught my eyes this year because the leggings and surgical mask was created by Shojono Tomo herself. I was already a fan of Shojono Tomo's clothes before knowing Nicki Minaj wore her clothes.

Shojono Tomo's clothes are extremely eye catching so if you ever want to stand out a bit just go order them online at http://shojonotomo.bigcartel.com/

For more information about Shojono Tomo go on these follwing sites:
